Dharma’s vivid red calls happiness
“Fumonji” between Kannon yama and the Kiryu River. “Daruma-ichi” which became one of Kiryu’s trademarks for more than 50 years since it was first held is held every third Sunday in January every year. In front of Kannondo at the end of the staircase, the old Dharma doll is burned and in front of the main hall where many stalls stand, there are loud voices for people to sell Dharma doll.
